The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Three daring AGS entrepreneurs start up their own commercial indie label in their parents' basement in this zany web-comic/sit-com/adventure-game! Join Lazarus (the writer/musician), Mothra (the coder) and Cuddles (the artist) as they struggle manfully against the myriad of setbacks that beset their project. Will they be able to scavenge enough coffee to fuel the completion of their project demo? Will Lazarus be able to salvage his inspiration to finish the soundtrack? Will the group be able to beat off the negative publicity generated by internet trolls? Find out more than you wanted to know about these questions and more in this thrilling peek into the adventure-game creating process!

4 people commented on this game (newest first):

Not only has this game been great fun to play and figure out from gamesmaker's position, it's beautifully done all around. Crisp, clear graphics, very funny monologues/dialogues (great voice acting!), nice, understated music, straightforwards story, twists and turns--I am keeping this one. Thank you for an extraordinarily enjoyable game, and for inspiring me to finish mine.

This game ticks all the right boxes. Great music, great voice acting, great puzzles, great visuals....I won't say great length as I want to play more, but certainly a medium length game.

10/10 for the voice acting. Particularly Lazarus and Mothra, and Cuddles is worthy of a mention.

If you reading this, please give this game a go :)

It's free - GET IT!

Lovely game within a game idea makes this the Hamlet of the AGS world.

Zany humour, good puzzles and outrageous voice acting abounds. What's not to love??
